This blog has been created for Lakes residents in Hollywood, Florida to voice their opinions and concerns about excessive vehicular volume, speeding, stopsign running, and the construction project that is making a bad situation even worse. Hopefully our local politicians will read the concerns of the same people that voted them into office. We want action!!!

12th Avenue is MUCH Wider than 13th Avenue
I have noticed that 12th Avenue is MUCH wider than 13th Avenue...especially around Northlake and almost all of the way to Washington Street. Why did't the City of Hollywood divert some, or all, of the traffic to 12th Avenue?
Yeah. Why didn't they divert some of the traffic to 12th Avenue. After all, 12th Avenue is much, much wider than 13th Avenue. There are even curbs for much of the stretch between Johnson and Washington Streets.
