This blog has been created for Lakes residents in Hollywood, Florida to voice their opinions and concerns about excessive vehicular volume, speeding, stopsign running, and the construction project that is making a bad situation even worse. Hopefully our local politicians will read the concerns of the same people that voted them into office. We want action!!!

What traffic impact can we expect when the Hollywood Boulevard Reconstruction Project is complete?
We can expect that all of the neighborhood traffic will be routed to 13th Avenue. That means that nearly every car traveling from Dania to Hallandale, or vice versa, will be zooming north and south on 13th Avenue. Anybody living in the Lakes that needs to cross Hollywood Boulevard will have to take one of the presidential streets east or west to get to 13th Avenue. This will especially impact HARRISON STREET and TYLER STREET.
